Although the standard $28,425 Leaf S with a 40 kilowatt-hour (kWh) battery pack has a range of just 149 miles, the Leaf S Plus has a bigger battery (62 kilowatt-hours) that boosts the range to 226 miles for $33,425. The Leaf S Plus also comes with more horsepower (214 Hp versus 147 Hp for the S). DC fast charging capability is standard.
