Range: 301 miles
While the BMW i3 (which debuted in 2013) was designed to stand out as an EV, with its unusual styling and emphasis on sustainability, BMW’s latest EV, the i4 is decidedly mainstream in appearance and specification. The BMW i4 will have two versions available—The eDrive40 will have 335-horsepower and rear-wheel drive, with estimated to have a range of 300 miles from an 80.0-kilowatt-hour (kWh) battery pack. The all-wheel-drive M50 with a maximum of 536-horsepower is the performance version with a zero to 60-mph acceleration in under 4 seconds and a lower range of 245 miles. The price will be around $55,000.
