Black Friday has moved beyond its origins of discounted electronics and household items to become a year-defining period for automotive purchases as well. Today, more companies are manufacturing and selling EVs, making Black Friday a unique opportunity to bump up sales before the year’s close. At the same time, for the environmentally conscious consumer, Black Friday can be the best time of year to secure an electric vehicle at the best rates possible. unprecedented EV supply and demand, Black Friday is a uniquely important strategic opportunity for buyers to secure premium EV models at unbeatable prices.

For EV manufacturers, Black Friday is a time to attract buyers with enticing deals that address both price and ownership costs. For example, discounts on MSRP (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price) for new and previous-year models are common, especially as manufacturers clear inventory for upcoming releases. Companies may offer financing incentives, such as low or zero-percent APR offers, reduced down payments, and extended loan terms, to make EV ownership more accessible.

Some manufacturers will bundle value-added incentives like complimentary charging credits, extended warranties, or free maintenance plans to sweeten the deal further. Discounts could also include free home charging station installations or upgrades.
