In January, Battery Technology wrote a piece about the impact of cold-weather on EV charging and its widespread adoption, and what work is being done to address the challenges. In December, we shared tips for preserving EV battery life in winter.

That’s because the impacts of winter don’t stop at EV charging, they also take a toll on EV range: Recurrent Auto recently undertook a study in which they investigated the impact of winter weather on the range of the most popular EV models on the market. In this piece, we’re going to take a look at their study to understand the true impact of winter on an EV's performance.
