Leak Testing Systems for Batteries

This webinar explores various quality solutions from Marposs Group for testing different components of battery systems including battery pack, tray and cover, cooling circuit/plate, battery pack, and module assembly.

There are different methods to verify the presence of a leakage, from traditional immersion of components in a water tank, to pressure decay detection in pressurized parts, to the use of tracing gas. Examples will be shown from Marposs’ Helium Technology, from simple manual helium testing stations to automatic systems integrated with production lines; and Tecna instruments for pressure decay (absolute or differential) testing, vacuum testing, and flow testing.
