For most of us, 2023 is still a ways off, but if you work for an automobile company, 2023 is already sooner than tomorrow. This is especially true as automakers put the finishing touches on a range of new electric vehicles (EVs) that will join their line-ups in 2022, 2023, and 2024.

The EV world is growing and changing faster than most would have predicted and the new models that are coming will add much-needed diversity and choice for EV consumers. New pickup trucks, SUVs, crossovers, sedans, and even a sports car or two will keep the market for electrification churning into the middle part of the decade.

Here are 15 new EVs that we find most interesting and that we expect will hit the marketplace starting as early as 2022 with others appearing into the 2023 to 2024 timeframe. The models from legacy carmakers are a sure thing—but some models that are coming from automotive newcomers and may or may not make the show. These are the EVs that promise to move the needle away from traditional gasoline-engine vehicles and closer toward an exciting, electrified future.
